Full one Day Tour in Awra Amba Village.
The guided tour will start in the information center, where we will meet with Doctor Zumra Nuru, Awra Amba’s founder. It then proceeds to the museum, followed by the preschool where ethics and human rights are taught alongside literacy and numeracy. Next we visit the village’s libraries, followed by the retirement home, where elderly people are treated. Then after you will be taken to a family house within Awra Amba village, where you will learn how to make Ethiopia’s staple food injera,and traditional sauces shiro and lentils.after which we will break for lunch and nap.
After break in the afternoon 3:00 we will go to the weaving workshop, where you will have try weaving on our traditional hand looms, weaving product shop we will go to the grinding mill, where you will see different kinds of grain, including tef, small millet, corn, and lots of donkeys. Then we will proceed to the food oil factory, which is one of the pillars of the cooperative economy. After that we will walk the uper side of the village to see the first settlement place of Awra Amba community then push on to coffee plantation here, it is also good spot to catch the sun set.
After dinner In the evening round campfire the Awra Amba Community music band will show you traditional dances with music.

3 Days and 2 Nights Eco cultural Trekking and Tours in Guna Mountain and Awra Amba village.
Day 1. After breakfast Starting early morning from Bahir Dar drive to kimir dingay, here we visit the spectacular rock-hewn church of wukro Medhane Alem which was reputedly excavated by king lalibela in the 12th century from one rock (it is good chance if you didn’t get the chance to visit Lalibela)
After lunch we start the 2:30 hours hiking from kimir dingay to the local’s home in the mountain. we will walk round the farm land of locals and we will see how they live withe their livestocks. Over the night staying with locals in their home and you will have time for cultural exchange.
Day 2.After breakfast early Morning you will start the next path.
From here you can walk along the south east side of the mountains, now you are in the amazing range land of the mountain and big meadows of Giant Lobelia (like a massive cabbage on a stem)
The land gradually rises towards the peak. Once you reach the 4,130 meter peak the panoramic view makes it worth the effort.
By the time we got down from the peak to the road and drive back to Awra Amba village.
